A dressing pack is a content list made real: everything the procedure needs, in the order the nurse will reach for it, sterile and opened once. We assemble seven procedure packs — basic dressing, ophthalmic, circumcision, oral care, IV start, vaginal examination and suture removal — and build new ones from a customer's own list.
Seven packs, seven procedures
The basic dressing set carries a dressing tray, five cotton wool balls, five gauze swabs, three dressing forceps, a surgical drape, a hand towel and a limpet bag. The ophthalmic pack adds a blister, four non-woven swabs, an eye pad, a sterile field and five 0.5 g cotton balls. Circumcision, oral care, IV start, vaginal examination and suture removal each have their own list — the full content of every pack is on its product page.
Assembly is the product
What a theatre buys is the sequence: drape first, then tray, then swabs, then instruments, then the waste bag, so the pack can be opened onto a trolley and used without hunting. We build to a layout drawing, and the drawing is approved before the first production run. Changing the fold or the order is a real change, not a packaging detail.
Counted, weighed and checked
Each pack is checked against the content list by count and by weight, and a sample per batch is opened and reconciled. Missing one swab is the defect that loses a hospital contract, so the count check is a documented step rather than an operator's judgement.
Sterilisation and the sterile field
Packs are assembled in a controlled area, packed in a sterile field wrap and sterilised by ethylene oxide with aeration. The pack carries the load batch, the sterilisation date and the expiry, and the sterilisation record is retained so a delivered pack can be traced back to its load.
Your own list, our assembly
Most new customers start from one of the seven packs and adjust it — a different drape size, an extra pair of gloves, a different waste bag colour. Send the list with sizes and counts and we will quote against it, with the layout drawing and the wrap specification included.
