Buying guide
Personal care is the same cotton as the clinical line, packed for a shelf rather than a trolley — cotton pads and swabs supplied to pharmacies, supermarket own-brand programmes and beauty brands, usually under the customer's label, in the customer's language.
Two families, many pack formats
Round pads at Φ58 mm in 50, 80 and 100 piece bags, and square pads from 5×5 cm to 15×15 cm in bulk 450 g bags or 1,000 piece bags. Cotton swabs on wooden or plastic stems from 3 to 8 inch, in bags, boxes and carded retail packs. Each family has its own page with the catalogue table.
Designed for a shelf price
A retail pad is bought on the price of the bag and repurchased on how it feels. Piece count, pad weight, edge finish and bag material together set the shelf price, so we quote the combination rather than a single pad. Where a customer is testing a new line we can run two brands on one production with a bag change.
Private label as standard
Printed bag, your barcode, your language, and a shelf-ready carton where the customer supplies a chain. Artwork is proofed as a PDF, plates are held for repeats, and the approved sample is held against production so the second order matches the first.
Compliance for cosmetics
For cosmetic use the pack needs the responsible person, the batch and the material declaration; for medical use it needs the manufacturer address and, where applicable, the CE mark. We ask which market the pack is for before the artwork is drawn, because the two label sets are not the same.
Where our cotton goes next
Most personal care customers also buy clinical cotton, because the same fibre and the same bleached supply serve both. Buying the two together usually improves the freight and reduces the number of suppliers on an audit list.
