Why a longer roll is a different purchase
A 10 m roll is a ward consumable: it is opened, used across several dressings and discarded at the end of the shift. The buyer is optimising handling time and waste, not shelf space, so the carton is sized for a stock room and the pack weight goes up to about a kilogram per roll.
Same construction, thicker winding
Cotton core, gauze sleeve, the same embossed line that keeps the layers from shifting when the roll is compressed in a carton. What changes is the winding tension: too loose and a long roll telescopes in transit, which is the fault buyers report most often on this size.
Before the first order
Confirm the wound diameter you can store, the sleeve weight, and whether the roll is supplied sterile or plain — sterility adds a pouch and changes the carton count.
