Product overview
Cotton wool sheathed in a gauze sleeve and wound as a 20 cm x 5 m roll, EO sterilised, packed one roll to the bag. The size most first aid kits and casualty trolleys cut from, because 20 cm covers a limb circumference without doubling over.
A sleeve, not a wound pad
The roll is a cotton core inside a gauze sleeve, so what touches the wound is gauze and the cotton behind it is the reservoir. That is why it is cut to the length of the limb rather than folded to a pad size, and why the sleeve has to be able to follow a curve without creasing into the wound.
What 5 m buys
Five metres gives roughly six to eight dressings on a forearm or calf from one roll. The trade-off against the 10 m roll is storage: at 15 x 8 x 4 cm the bag drops into a kit compartment, where the longer roll does not.
Checked before shipment
Sleeve seam continuity, absorbency, and that the roll unrolls without the core collapsing. Each shipment carries COA, MSDS and the technical file; the EO cycle is recorded against the batch.
Ordering and documents
Each shipment carries a COA, MSDS and the technical file for the batch. Send the size, the packing and the destination port and the quotation is returned with the carton dimensions.
