What the size decides
20×20 cm covers the mouth and nose of an adult without overhanging the jaw, which is what makes it fold flat enough to live in a first aid kit or a vehicle glovebox. It is the size to specify when the mask has to disappear into a pouch or a keyring rather than sit in a cabinet.
Why the sheet is EO sterilised
The mask is used on a casualty and then discarded, so the risk is contamination in the pack rather than on the patient. Ethylene oxide sterilisation with a sealed bag keeps the shield clean until it is opened; shelf life is stated as three years from production, leaving the buyer a working window inside that.
What to confirm before the order
Valve function and filter retention on the sample you approve — a valve that sticks open defeats the purpose of the shield. Then the instruction card language and the bag print, because both are printed before the masks are packed.
Ordering and documents
Each shipment carries a COA, MSDS and the technical file for the batch. Send the size, the packing and the destination port and the quotation is returned with the carton dimensions.
