Where the extra 10 cm goes
The additional length drapes past the chin and down the neck, so the responder's hands stay off the casualty's skin and the shield does not lift when the head is tilted. Training organisations and ambulance services tend to specify this size; kit assemblers usually stay with 20×20.
Packing follows the size
At 20×30 cm the folded mask is longer, so the bag and the carton change with it — 1,000 bags per carton against 500 for the smaller size. Freight per unit is lower because the cartons cube out rather than weigh out.
The same valve, checked the same way
Both sizes share the valve and filter; what differs is the film area. Approve the sample on the size you will actually buy, since the fold pattern is not the same.
Ordering and documents
Each shipment carries a COA, MSDS and the technical file for the batch. Send the size, the packing and the destination port and the quotation is returned with the carton dimensions.
