What the 13 pieces are for
Eleven of the items address bleeding and breathing, in the order a responder reaches for them: a tourniquet and an Israeli bandage for extremity bleeding, a vented chest seal for a penetrating chest wound, compressed gauze for packing, an NPA and a thoracentesis needle for the airway, then scissors, tape, a triangular bandage, gloves and a blanket to finish the job. The pouch is the thirteenth piece.
Why the pouch size matters
At 20 x 15 x 7.5 cm the kit sits on a belt or the outside of a pack without becoming the thing that gets left behind. The MOLLE webbing on the back is what makes that possible; a larger pouch with the same contents would be carried in a vehicle instead.
Regulation before you print artwork
Several items here are regulated as medical devices in the EU and require registration in the US: the chest seal, the NPA and the decompression needle in particular. Confirm the classification for the destination market before the artwork is printed, because the label and the instructions change with it.
Ordering and documents
Each shipment carries a COA, MSDS and the technical file for the batch. Send the size, the packing and the destination port and the quotation is returned with the carton dimensions.
