A tray is a tool, not a container
When a dressing kit is assembled by hand into a bag, the packing list is only as accurate as the packer. A formed tray removes that variable: every pocket holds one component, a missing item is visible before the lid goes on, and the kit is assembled in a fixed order.
The drawing decides the price
Blister tooling is cut to the pocket layout, so the tray is quoted from a drawing rather than from a catalogue size. Send the components and their positions and the quote comes back with the tooling and the per-tray price separated.
PET and the medical file
PET is the usual choice for a clear rigid tray: it forms sharply, does not craze at the pocket corners and takes a lid without distortion. For a tray that goes inside a sterile barrier, the material statement and the technical file are what the buyer's auditor asks for, not the tray itself.
Ordering and documents
Each shipment carries a COA, MSDS and the technical file for the batch. Send the size, the packing and the destination port and the quotation is returned with the carton dimensions.
