Product overview

PET rather than PVC
PET forms at a higher temperature and comes out clearer and stiffer than PVC at the same wall thickness. For a tray that has to be seen through — vials, ampoules, small devices — that clarity is the reason buyers specify it, and it is also why the tray does not need a printed insert to look presentable.
Why the ribs
The vertical ribs on the wall are not decoration: they carry load from the rim to the base so a stack of trays does not sag in the middle of a carton. A smooth-walled tray of the same weight buckles at about half the stack height.
Food contact and medical use in one tool
The same tray is sold into food packaging and into medical packaging. If it is going inside a medical pack, say so before the tool is cut: the material declaration and the handling rules are different from a food tray, and retrofitting them costs more than specifying them.
Ordering and documents
Each shipment carries a COA, MSDS and the technical file for the batch. Send the size, the packing and the destination port and the quotation is returned with the carton dimensions.
