Trapped pockets, upright vials
Each pocket is formed to the vial diameter so the container cannot tip inside the carton, and the pocket walls are deep enough to stop a vial riding over its neighbour when the tray is handled at an angle.
Sized to a standard shipper
At 22.2 x 21.5 x 6.1 cm the tray is set to fit a carton layer rather than to fit one bottle size. Pocket diameter and pitch are the two numbers to confirm, because they decide how many vials sit in a layer.
Stack, do not crush
The rib pattern on the base bears the weight of the tray above it, so a full carton does not transfer load onto the vials themselves. That is the difference between a tray and a divider.
